Sharing Links & Projects
This page explains how sharing works and how to configure access.
Tracks in your Library can be shared with collaborators, artists, team members, or anyone you want to give access to. Each track has its own shareable link, along with controls for privacy, downloads, expiry, and custom URLs.
Share a Track via Link
Every track in your Library has a unique share link that you can copy and send to anyone. Example link: https://tstack.link/t/yourhandle/N3V3N3Nb
To share:
Open a track in your Library
Click the Link icon
Copy the link and share it anywhere you like
Your share page includes view and download analytics so you always know how your track is being accessed.

Track Analytics
When sharing a track, you’ll see basic engagement metrics, including:
Views — How many times the link has been opened
Downloads — How many times the file has been downloaded
Last viewed — When the link was last accessed
These insights help you understand how your music is being received and by whom.
Custom URL
You can customise the share URL to make it easier to recognise and more professional.
Editable structure: https://tstack.link/t/yourname/customID
Use this to:
Create cleaner links
Brand your shared content
Make URLs easier to remember and reuse
If your profile is verified, some URL restrictions may apply for security reasons.
Access & Security
You can control how people interact with your shared track using several security options:
Downloads
Downloads On — Allow users to download the audio file
Downloads Off — Only allow listening, not downloading
Expiry
Choose whether the link expires or never expires
Expiring links are useful for private previews, promos, or limited listening windows
Password Protection
Add a password to restrict access
Share the password only with approved listeners
Helps maintain control over early demos or sensitive material
Configure these options in the Access & Security panel for each track.
Invite People
Instead of sharing a public link, you can invite specific individuals to access the track.
To invite:
Click Invite People
Add email addresses or select contacts
They will receive a private link to the track
This is ideal for:
Sending tracks to trusted collaborators
Sharing unreleased music securely
Workflow coordination with your team or label partners
Preview Pages
Your shared track page includes:
Track name
Artist info
Artwork (if added)
Listening player
Optional download button
Metadata and file details
This gives recipients a clean, professional preview experience.
Projects
Projects allow you to group multiple tracks together and share them as a single, professional link. This is ideal for situations where you want recipients to listen to tracks in a defined set—such as an EP, album, demo pack, playlist, or label release preview.

What You Can Use Projects For
Projects are perfect when you want to present music as a cohesive collection, such as:
A new EP or multi-track release
A pack of demos for A&R review
A curated selection for collaborators or promo partners
A sequence of tracks you want someone to hear together
Instead of sending multiple links, a Project gives you one clean, unified link.
Creating a Project
To create a new Project:
Go to Library → Projects
Click Create Project
Add tracks from your library
Arrange them in your preferred order
Add artwork, notes, or metadata (optional)
Your Project will now appear alongside your other library items.
Sharing a Project
Projects can be shared just like individual tracks.
Each Project includes:
A single shareable link
A unified listening page showing all tracks
Artwork and project details
View/download analytics
Access & Security controls
Custom URL options
This makes the Project easy to send, easy to manage, and easy for recipients to navigate.
Access & Security for Projects
Projects support the same controls as individual track links:
Downloads on/off
Password protection
Link expiry settings
Inviting specific people directly
This ensures secure sharing of unreleased material, professional demos, or confidential pre-release previews.
Why Use Projects?
Projects give you:
A polished, professional listening experience for multi-track releases
A single link for efficient sharing
Better organisation for EPs, albums, or demo packs
Consistency when presenting curated selections
Analytics to track interest and engagement
They’re the best way to package multiple tracks into one cohesive submission or preview.
Summary
Sharing links from your Library allows you to:
Present tracks professionally
Control who can listen or download
Track engagement and usage
Use secure, customisable access settings
Collaborate more efficiently
Whether you're sending demos, drafts, reference tracks, or final masters, Trackstack makes sharing simple and secure.
